With a distinctive company culture that drives engagement, innovation and business results, W. L. Gore & Associates earned the No. 3 spot on the 2016 list of Best Multinational Workplaces, announced this week by Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine. The ranking is the world’s largest annual study of workplace excellence and identifies the 25 best multinational companies in terms of workplace culture.
For more than 50 years, Gore has cultivated a corporate culture that fosters the innovative spirit of individuals and teams and harnesses their diverse talents and perspectives.
“We are a company of passionate associates, creative thinkers and problem solvers with a shared commitment to our organisation’s success,” says CEO Terri Kelly, who joined Gore as an engineer more than 30 years ago. “We are dedicated to advancing our materials to make the world a better place. And we know that we achieve our strongest results when we live by our shared values to deliver innovative products to our customers.”
The Best Multinational Workplaces list is based on the results of the Great Place to Work Institute’s national top workplace lists. Conducted annually around the globe, these lists rank organisations based on the results of an in-depth culture audit and employees’ assessments of their jobs, managers, coworkers, opportunities for training and support for work/life balance, among other factors.
